The Bucknell Cycling Classic Returns on March 21-22, 2026!

 Hello Cyclists!

I'm excited to announce that the Bucknell Cycling Team is hosting the Bucknell Cycling Classic this spring on March 21st and 22nd! Saturday will consist of an individual time trial and road race at the beautiful Montour Preserve in Danville, PA. Sunday will consist of a criterium race on Bucknell's Campus in Lewisburg, PA! We have new time trial and road race courses this year, and they are sure to make for some great racing! The road race consists of a fast and punchy 7.8 mile loop with 338 ft of elevation gain, perfect for getting your Zwift legs back into racing for the spring. For the crit, we'll be using our classic 1km loop around the South Campus Apartments and Bucknell Farm.

A race flyer with lots of information about the race can be found here, and the BikeReg page can be found here. Registration on BikeReg opens tomorrow, 2/1/2026!

We are super excited about the new Road Race course (above). The Montour Preserve is a fantastic venue, and these rolling roads will provide great racing.

Volunteers are the most important part of putting on a road race, and we'll take all the help we can get from our cycling community to make this an awesome weekend of racing! If you're interested in helping us out, please fill out this Google form. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
